Our organization name is MIDNAPORE DISTRICT COUNCIL FOR SOCIAL WELFARE. Our address is Samaj Kalyan, at & P.O.- Egra, PIN - 721 429 Dist. - Purba Medinipur, West Bengal. we are Non-governmental voluntary Social Welfare Organisation. We are Registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act. XXVI of 1961. Registration No. S/67262 of 1990-91. Our Date of Registration 4th March, 1991. We organise of various Awareness Generation Programs Implementing of various Health and Family Welfare Programmes and generating awareness for AIDS control. Organiging of various Education and Training and Sports & Cultural Programmes. Implementing of various Rural and Urban Development programmes. Managing of S.C. S.T OBC, minority and handicapped welfare pregrammes. Programme for Environment protection and Pollution Control. Organising of Women Empowerment programmes. Organising of Road safety programme. Child and women Labour welfare programme. Employment generation programme. Women, child and aged welfare programmes. Managing of one Paramedical College Managing of one Nursing Institute Managing of creche centres for babies of working mother and Rescue and Rehabilitation centre for girl child of prostitutes. Organising of various relief work during flood. Organising of legal literacy, legal awareness, family counsiling and adolescellant counselling programmes. Aims and objects of our Organisation
Aims & Objectives
- The main objectives may be narrated as underTo promote, encourage and advance all sorts of education,training, research, etc.
- To perform and implement all sorts of programmes relating to health, Hygiene, sanitation and family welfare.
- To undertake and implement all sorts of development and welfare programmes for the women and children, handicapped people, people of SC, ST and other backward classes community for their uplift, social establishment and economic development and also to organise programmes for the empowerment of Women.
- To create effective and suitable environment and establish and develop adequate infrastructure for sports and games and all sorts of cultural activities.
- To help the aged sick mocked distressed, oppressed and helpless persons.
- To publish books, literature, journals, research papers, magazines, etc.
